Our Prepress department is spread over an area of about 300 square meters, with restricted access.

An up-to-date department equipped with the best equipment available makes la  Grafibox Sud self-sufficient for what concerns the creation of graphic systems, films and printing plates.

​

At the moment they are  operating a system  of “Computer to film SCREEN” and a system “Computer to Plate AGFA”.

Similarly, a closed-loop purification system is active .

Furthermore, a digital graphic system is operative, based on both Windows and Macintosh, connected to multiple peripherals (scanners, modems, linotronics and more).

For imposition, an important and at the same time complicated step in the prepress process, the company uses Packz software which has become a worldwide standard in the converting industry.

Grafibox Sud is able to communicate without difficulty with Customers and Suppliers, both for the exchange of data and programs in any format (ADSL lines, FTP, formats  EPS, CFF2, PDF, etc.).

​

A backup of all files, carried out with particular attention to safety, ensures maximum reliability in the conservation of the Artworks.

Security procedures protect graphic files from tampering or intrusion.
